Why We Built This Site
We built the guide around Winkler County’s divided court structure. The 109th Judicial District Court handles district-level matters, the District Clerk keeps its files, the County Clerk maintains county-court records, and JP 1 and JP 2 handle their own justice-court dockets. Kermit and Wink municipal courts add two city-level routes. A search with one office may not cover another court’s process.
The distinction matters locally because there is no public statewide name-search portal. Texas Crime Information Center access is limited to law-enforcement and criminal-justice users. The public can use some court-specific citation tools or submit a written request for an existing record, but an empty result from a limited source is not proof that no warrant exists.
What You Will Find Here
- County search routes: the Winkler County warrant lookup page distinguishes the clerk, court, city, and sheriff paths.
- Case status: outstanding warrant records explains why dated lists and current court status differ.
- Missed settings: the bench warrant guide maps justice-court and municipal-court contacts.
- Warrant types: arrest warrants, traffic cases, and municipal warrants each have a distinct issuing office.
- City procedure: separate Kermit and Wink pages describe their verified municipal channels.
- Public records: the pages explain written Texas Public Information Act requests and access limits for confidential records.
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not a Winkler County, city, court, sheriff, or state agency. Our pages do not query an official warrant system. In particular:
- We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm a person’s current status
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that a court’s online citation tool includes every warrant or that a listed detail remains current
Only the court that issued the warrant or the sheriff's warrant unit that holds it can confirm whether a warrant exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages contain search boxes operated by outside providers. Those companies control their services, pricing, and results. If a tool leads to a paid signup, the site may receive a referral fee. Such results are not Winkler County court records and cannot replace confirmation from the clerk or agency that holds the case.
